Mariners Break Out Bats In Win At Texas

Kendrys Morales hit two home runs, Raul Ibanez left the yard for his team-leading 20th blast and the Seattle Mariners beat the Texas Rangers 9-2 on Tuesday at the Ballpark in Arlington.

Ibanez and Morales took Rangers starter Justin Grimm yard in back-to-back at-bats with two outs in the first. Morales added a three-run shot in the fifth. The switch-hitting designated hitter also had a two-run single in the sixth to total six RBIs on the day.

Joe Saunders gave up 10 hits in 6 2/3 innings, but allowed just two runs (one earned) and struck out five.
