Several Tri-City Americans invited to NHL camps

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Shortly after the 2013 NHL Draft came and went, many Tri-City Americans players were invited to NHL camps. Defenseman Zach Yuen goes undrafted his second time around, but he will head to Dallas Stars camp. Goalie Troy Trombley will stay close to his home town, selected to the Edmonton Oilers camp. Defenseman Beau McCue will try his luck with the Toronto Maple Leafs. Center Connor Rankin heads to Pittsburgh Penguins camp. This comes after goalie Eric Comrie was the only member of the Americans actually drafted. The Winnipeg Jets picked him in the second round.
