Indians Score Late For Road Win

The Spokane Indians scored three runs in the eighth inning to beat the Tri-City Dust Devils 6-4 on Tuesday night.

Kevin Torres delivered a two-run double with no outs in the eighth to tie the game, 6-6. Torres moved to third on a wild pitch and a two-out single by Chris Garia brought him home with the go-ahead run.

Torres went 3-for-5 with three RBIs and a run. Garia had two hits, including a triple, drove in and scored a run.

Ryne Slack pitched three innings of scoreless ball for the win. Slack struck out four and walked a pair. Michael Zouzalik pitched the ninth for his second save.
