NBCRightNow.com - It is no secret kids and fireworks can be a dangerous combination but even seemingly safe situations may not be.

Experts at Nationwide Children's Hospital say firework-related injuries often happen even when a parent or an adult is present. They say one in four firework-related injuries to children are caused by bystanders.

And even sparklers can burn at up to 1,800 degrees, easily igniting clothing.
