25 Mile Fire Near Manson Determined To Be Human-Caused; DNR Looking For Information
Washington DNR Press Release:
Late in the afternoon on Thursday, July 4th, local firefighters, the U.S. Forest Service and the Washington Department of Natural Resources responded to a wildfire reported north of Manson, Washington across Lake Chelan from the Twenty Five Mile Creek State Park.
The fire started near the Dutch Harbor area and has been determined to be human caused. A boat was seen quickly leaving the area, headed up-lake at the time of the ignition.
