Union Gap, Wash.-- Two Lower Valley residents are hospitalized following a late night crash on Interstate 82.

Washington State Patrol said 32-year-old Erica Ferretiz and 37-year-old Joe Hernandez were driving in an SUV when it ran off the road near Union Gap.

Ferretiz was listed in good condition this morning at a local hospital, and Washington State Patrol reports Hernandez was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Deputies do suspect alcohol or drugs may have been a factor.
