Police Say Injured Woman Found In Idaho Yard

Posted: Updated:

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Police say an unconscious woman who was found in the front yard of a Boise home was likely injured in a scooter-style motorcycle crash and the suspected driver has been arrested.
Twenty-two-year-old Thomas Alec MacFarlane was charged with felony leaving the scene of an injury accident. Police say they believe he was driving the scooter when it crashed early Sunday morning.
A man who was walking his dog a few hours later called police after finding the woman lying between some shrubs in the driveway of a Boise home about a block and a half away from the site of the crash. Police have not released the woman's name, but said she had potentially life-threatening head injuries.
