Yakima Valley Man Wins $6.1 Million

Posted: Updated:

SUNNYSIDE, Wash. - A Yakima Valley father has won $6.1 million after buying the winning Washington Lottery Lotto's ticket.

He is currently remaining anonymous but bought the ticket from Bi-Mart in Sunnyside.

This is the biggest win to happen in the Tri-Cities/Yakima region in the past year, as well as in Bi-Mart's history of selling Washington's Lottery tickets.

He says he plans to donate some of the money to support local charities, such as food banks, and invest the rest for he and his wife's retirement and his three children's college education.
