SLIDESHOW: Team Gleason Trail Run Fundraiser

Updated:

Dominic Severino and Jackie Gleason visited the SWX studio on Wednesday to talk about the Chewelah Peak Trail Run, which is a benefit for Team Gleason and The Gleason Initiative Foundation.

Severino is the race director and Gleason is the step-mom of Steve Gleason, who is currently fighting ALS.

Gleason, a former Gonzaga Prep, Washington State and NFL player, has brought more public awareness to ALS through his personal battle.

The Chewelah Peak Trail Run is on August 4 and participants can choose between the 10-mile or 3.5-mile race. Both start at the Calispell Creek Lodge.
