Pasco Police: Rental Deposits in Drop Boxes Are Being Stolen

PASCO, Wash. - Pasco Police are warning the public about thieves stealing rental deposits from apartment complex offices.

Police say multiple apartments in Pasco have been targeted in the past few weeks, including complexes in the 800 block of North 22ND Street and the 6600 block of Chapel Hill Boulevard.

Security video shows a man fishing rental payments from the deposit drop boxes at the offices of the complexes.

Police believe three individuals are involved, but identified one of the people as Caucasian male with a thin build and mustache, who was last seen wearing dark clothing and a baseball hat.

A 2000's model Ford Explorer was also seen pulling into the parking lot of the complex around the time of the theft.
