Kennewick Police Department Hires Three New Officers

KENNEWICK, Wash. - The Kennewick Police Department is welcoming three new officers to their ranks.

On Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., Kennewick Police Chief Ken Hohenberg will swear in the new officers in the KPD Training Room. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

Cindy Blackmore, 21, graduated from Nevada State College with a degree in Psychology and now lives in Richland.

Ryan Fisher, 27, graduated from Pasco High School. He was a SERE Specialist: Survival, Evasion, Resist and Escape, training aircrews in basic survival techniques, including evasion tactics, obtaining food, and constructing shelters in the Air Force.

Cory McGee, 26, graduated from Southridge High School. He was a Marine and completed two tours in Iraq. He is currently a Spokane resident but plans to move to the TriCities soon.

All three will be attending the Basic Law Enforcement Academy in Burien soon.
