City of Yakima Wants to Hear Your Opinion in Citizen Survey

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The city of Yakima wants your input on how they can improve the city and move forward.

They're conducting their annual citizen survey.

Last year's survey results pointed city officials toward a number of priorities.

Those included public safety measures like police bike patrols and several other ideas like the downtown summer concerts.

"Lot of changes that's been going on in the city with changing how we're structured, the kinds of services that we provide, where we are dedicating our resources primarily. That had a big impact," said Randy Beehler with the City of Yakima.

The city sent the new survey to more than three thousand households, and there's also an online version that Yakima citizens can fill out.

You can find that on the city's website, here.
