Catfish, Sure... But Panda Cow?

ROY, Wash. - A Washington man has been breeding miniature cows on his farm, hoping to recreate black and white markings of a panda bear.

John Bartheld succeeded on June 28th, when Peanut was born. From most angles, Peanut looks just like a panda; a big belt of white fur, a white face and black hair around the eyes.

His mom, Midget, was artificially inseminated. Another panda cow born July 3, Star, has similar markings, but they're not as well-defined as Peanut's.

Bartheld says he likes miniature cattle because he can keep more of them on the pasture and still maintain the lush green look of his farm.
