EVERETT, Wash. - A Marysville man accused of shooting and killing a 15-year-old Seattle girl has pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder and drive-by shooting.

Authorities describe the murder as a night of random shooting around Snohomish County.

15-year-old Molly Conley was fatally shot on June 1st as she walked with friends along a road in Lake Stevens.

Snohomish County prosecutors say 27-year-old Erick N. Walker "exhibited extreme indifference to human life" the night of June 1 when he opened fire on a group of girls, killing Conley.

Walker is also accused of firing bullets into four homes in Marysville and Lake Stevens.

The Boeing worker with no criminal history was arrested June 28 and denied any involvement. He pleaded Friday in Snohomish County Superior Court.
