Citizenship Clinic Gives Immigrants Free Legal Advice

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, Wash.-- Immigrants received free legal advice Saturday at a citizenship clinic in Pasco.

Lawyers offered their services for free and advised people how to apply for citizenship.

The Washington New Americans Program hosts the Citizenship Day clinics across Washington.

The events helps thousands of legal residents become citizens.

"In order to properly fill out those documents, sometimes they need a little bit of guidance. For a lot of people, English is their second language. So it's really nice to have someone to just help you understand the questions completely," said Reesy Dollentel, event coordinator.

If you missed Friday's clinic and would like to attend another one, you can find more information by calling 1 (877) 926-3924 or visit www.wanewamericans.org.
