A New Night For Yakima Farmer's Market

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Yakima Farmer's Market will open on Tuesday nights starting this week.

It will be on South 4th Street every Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:30 through September 24th.

Organizers said it will be smaller than the Sunday market, but you will see a lot of the same booths, and vendors are hoping more people will come.

This is all part of a way the city is trying to revitalize the downtown core and get more people into the area during the week to increase foot traffic and support local businesses.
