PREVIOUS STORY:

KHQ.COM - An early morning fire has killed a man and a woman. It happened at around 12:15 Monday morning at the Cascade Mobile Home Community. It's located just off of Hwy. 195, near I-90 in the 2300 block of W. 16th. We do not know the identifies of the two killed.

Neighbors said they thought they heard the woman yelling for help, but the flames were too intense and they were not able to get them out.
Investigators and the Medical Examiner had to wait until a backhoe arrived and secured the porch roof. The damage from the fire was so severe the roof was in danger of collapsing.

Firefighters also handed out fliers to neighbors warning there had been a fire in the neighborhood and listing the most common causes of house fires. It's not clear how the fire started.
