UNION COUNTY, Ore. - The Union County Sheriff's Office says search and rescue teams have found the body of a 51-year-old Walla Walla man who drowned after his boat capsized in Jubilee Lake.

The Walla Walla Union Bulletin reports a side-scan sonar device found Jeffrey Scott Anspach's body Tuesday morning. The boat capsized Sunday while he was canoeing with a friend.

Investigators say the two were not wearing lifejackets and tried to pull the canoe back to shore. They say the other person in the canoe was able to make it but Anspach was not.
