Pasco Car Crash Victim Dies in Richland Hospital

PASCO, Wash. - A 44-year-old Pasco woman involved in a car crash Monday has died from her injuries.

Washington State Patrol troopers say Martha Benavides died at Kadlec Regional Medical Center 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Troopers say Mario Gallegos, 21, from Pasco was driving along SR 397 in Pasco when she crossed the center lane and hit another truck. She was taken to Kadlec Hospital along with passenger Benavides.

The driver of the other car, 56-year-old Donnie Wells from Kennewick, was transported to Lourdes Medical Center.
