G2 Construction Moves into New Building

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- The new $1.3 million G2 Construction Professional Building project on West Hood Place in Kennewick is complete.

The single-story, 8,500 square-foot structure is a pre-manufactured Butler steel building with conventional framing and finishes and three office spaces.

G2 Construction's suite takes up about 60% of the building.  Justice Family Chiropractic occupies a second suite.

"The location is outstanding," says Douglas Gunther, the president and owner of G2 Construction.  "We've got ourselves into the core of what we do; we're commercial construction only.  So we are (near) the justice center, the convention center, the cancer center and the KGH medical mall.  We're right down here in the heart of our customer base."

The high-end commercial office building was built by G2 Investments, which is owned by Doug and Ami Gunther, who also own G2 Construction.  Terrance Casey of CKJT Architects provided design work.

RICHLAND: Reducing our carbon footprint has been something that we have been striving to do for years. There there are many easy ways we can reduce our footprint, like choosing to drive less, planting a garden, or recycling.
