Updated:

Five Spokane Indians players have been selected to the Northwest League All-Star Game that will take place on Aug. 6 at Everett Memorial Stadium

The Indians will be represented by center fielder Chris Garia, second baseman Janluis Castro, first baseman Kevin Torres, and pitchers David Ledbetter and Eric Brooks.

Garia, the Indians' leadoff man, leads the NWL in runs and stolen bases. Torres joined the team after the start of the season, but leads Spokane with a .296 batting average. Castro, meanwhile, is able to play multiple infield positions and has hit a pair of home runs.

Ledbetter has a team-low ERA of 1.71 to go along with a 3-0 record and 30 strikeouts in 31 2/3 innings. Brooks has 29 strikeouts with only five walks this season.
