RICHLAND, Wash. - While about 70,000 people are expected at water follies this weekend, another 20 to 30 thousand are expected at another local event.
The 63rd Annual Art in the Park show runs through Saturday evening in Howard Amon Park in Richland. The event features 180 vendors featuring food, drinks, and unique artwork.
"It's great for the people to come and look because it's something new and something original and not from the big box stores that everyone can get stamped out," said Art in the Park Director, Susan Swanson.
Organizers tell us artists come from Oregon, Montana, Idaho, and Washington to display their art work. The event is the main fundraiser for the Allied Arts Association. Admission is free.
