1st Annual Spokane Bug In

Posted: Updated:
There probably isn't a more recognizable vehicle on the planet than the Volkswagen Beetle or the Volkswagen Bus.  Saturday at Spokane Raceway Park, many of those two classic cars, along with a lot of other VWs gathered for the 1st Annual Spokane Bug In.

The event featured a car show, swap meet, and even drag races with really fast Volkswagens.

And the best part? It also served as a fundraiser for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Spectators brought out cans of food along with their admission money and all of it went to fill the shelves of the food bank.

Saturday's Bug In was a huge success and organizers are already looking forward to next year.
