A clutch single in the top of the ninth inning from Marcos Derkes scored what became the winning run in the 5-4 victory Saturday night over the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes. Despite walking two batters in the bottom of the ninth, closer Trent Daniel held on to secure his Northwest League-high tenth save of the season.
