Western Washington Man Drowns in Lake Cle Elum

Posted: Updated:

CLE ELUM, Wash. - The Kittitas County sheriff's office says a Fall City man drowned in Lake Cle Elum early Sunday when his truck rolled into the water.

The sheriff's office says 21-year-old Jesse Sebade was in town for a family reunion.

They say he had been drinking beer and listening to music in his pickup truck at about 3 a.m.

A short time later, friends heard the truck roll down a steep embankment into the water.  They say the truck had sunk before they had a chance to swim out and find him.

The sheriff's office says the truck and body were found about 45 feet from shore in 30 feet of water.

WASHINGTON: It's barely pumpkin latte season and already signs are up advertising *flu* shots! One vaccine that's been off the market for a couple years is back this year. Two years ago the nasal spray vaccine was taken off the market because the Center for Disease Control said it was no longer effective for that particular flu season. For those who tend to get a little needle frantic, the CDC now says this year's nasal spray vaccine should be effective for this year's flu strain. I...More >>
