Just three days after being released by the Seattle Seahawks, former Idaho Vandal Justin Veltung has signed a one year contract with the St. Louis Rams.  Veltung informed SWX's Michelle Dapper of the news Wednesday morning after arriving in St. Louis Tuesday.  The Idaho wide receiver was let go by Seattle and replaced by rookie running back Ray Holley out of Louisiana Tech over the weekend.

Veltung, from Puyallup, played 43 games at Idaho in his career. He collected 62 receptions for 901 yards with eight touchdowns and returned 80 kickoffs for 1,743 yards with two touchdowns in his career. He left Idaho as its all-time kickoff return leader (78) and kickoff return yardage leader (1,743), and 11th on its all-time all-purpose yardage list with 2,972 yards.

Terms of the contract have not been released.
