1 Dead In Head-On Collision With Onion Truck

HERMISTON, Ore. (AP) - Oregon State Police say a woman was killed near Hermiston, Ore., when her car collided head-on with a tractor-trailer rig hauling onions.
    
Police say the woman was trying to pass another vehicle Wednesday. She was not immediately identified.
    
The Oregonian reports (http://is.gd/MK4sWJ ) that both vehicles caught fire and flames spread to a nearby field.
    
Police say the truck driver escaped the burning truck with minor injuries.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Legendary punk rock band D.O.A. is asking for the Spokane community to keep an eye out after the band's van was broken into during a show at The Pin over the weekend.  D.O.A. was founded in 1977 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is considered one of the founders of the hardcore punk subgenre of music, along with other mainstays like Bad Brains and Black Flag.
