Ballots Due for Primary Election

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The primary election is this week and you have until eight at night on Tuesday to get your ballots in.

So far, on 18% of voters in Yakima turned in their ballots.

Yakima voters will narrow down the candidates in two city council elections this week.

Voters in Yakima will also vote on Proposition 1, which deals with a $2 million street construction fund.

Ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday or be dropped off in person at the Yakima County courthouse.
