Sunnyside Prosecutor Charged with DUI

SUNNYSIDE, Wash.--A Sunnyside prosecutor will spend 364 nights in jail and face a hefty fine.

Kathleen Hitchcock was charged with a DUI several weeks after being pulled over.

She faces about a year in jail and a fine of $5000.

Police Pulled Hitchcock over in late July for speeding, that's when she told police she had a few drinks the night before and had a blood-alcohol level of .248, the legal limit is .08.

Hitchcock is suspended from her contract with the city of Sunnyside as the city prosecutor.
