6 Injured After Car Hits Moose In Stevens County; Medstar Responds To Scene

KHQ.COM - At least 6 people were hurt on Monday after the car they were in collided with a moose. It happened 6 miles south of Chewelah on Hwy. 395 in Stevens County. The driver of the Red 1995 Buick Lesabre was traveling in the northbound lanes when the vehicle struck the moose near Roskam Rd. 

The 2 adults and 4 children were transported to the hospital and at least one person was taken by Medstar. Everyone was wearing a seatbelt. Drugs/alcohol did not play role in the crash.
