King County Confirms Death of Yakima Teen Pulled From Lake

ENUMCLAW, Wash.-- The King County Sheriff's Office confirms a Yakima boy traveling with a church group died after he was pulled from a lake near Enumclaw.

Paramedics performed CPR on the boy at the lakeshore and took him to the hospital.

The pastor with the church group identifies the boy as 17 yr old Zachary Kuhn of Yakima.


King County Fire District No. 44 officials say witnesses called for help Wednesday afternoon after seeing the boy struggling in the water at Deep Lake in Nolte State Park.
    
Medics began CPR and the boy was rushed to a nearby hospital. He was later pronounced dead.
