Buck Haircuts for Students

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. –Buzz cut, butch, or just a little off the top; Victoria's Academy of Cosmetology students Tuesday hold their annual Back-to-School Haircut Day.

More than forty cosmetology students will be standing at their stations, scissors in hand, and for just one dollar they'll clip, cut, or trim any head of hair that attends school from kindergarten through college.

Walk-in appointments start at 8:30 a.m.

Managers say they'll match every dollar and give all proceeds to the Kennewick School District.

The cosmetology students cut about 150 heads of hair at last year's back to school event.

Victoria's is located at the corner of West First Avenue and Auburn Street in downtown Kennewick.
