Cle Elum Man Arrested, Deputies Seize 90 Illegal Marijuana Plants

CLE ELUM, Wash. - A 46-year-old Cle Elum man is facing charges after Kittitas County Sheriff's deputies say they found two illegal marijuana growing operations on his properties.

Deputies say they arrested him Saturday after conducting two search warrants on two of his properties in the Mountain River Trails Resort. Deputies took 90 marijuana plants from his properties and also found glass and plastic greenhouses, drip irrigation equipment, solar powered lighting arrays, and horticultural supplies.

Deputies also took several ounces of harvested marijuana, suspected methamphetamine and heroin paraphernalia, and firearms.

Deputies also took a 17-year-old girl into custody at one of the grows on a Youth At Risk warrant out of Snohomish County.
