Hermiston Police Find and Arrest Man After Running from Officers

HERMISTON, Ore. - A Hermiston man is now in custody after running from police last week.

Officers arrested Gregory White, 22, Tuesday morning after a citizen recognized him at a local restaurant. Police say he faces charges for running from officers and possession of meth.

HERMISTON, Ore. - Hermiston police are looking for a father who was trespassing and then ran away from officers Tuesday.

Police say they were called to N. 1st Place and West Geer Rd. on a report of a small child operating a motorcycle near the railroad tracks. When officers arrived, a man and six-year-old boy left the scene on motorcycles.

The six-year-old was caught and taken into protective custody but later released to his mother.

The man, 28-year-old Gregory White is still on the run. White is 6'01", 185 lbs., with brown hair, and hazel eyes. He faces several charges once found.
