Free Health Fair Planned for This Weekend in Kennewick

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Tri-Cities Community Health wants to show off their new clinic and the services they provide.

And you can get a first hand look yourself this weekend.

On Saturday, August 17th, the Tri-Cities Community Health is commemorating National Health Center Week with a free health fair.

The fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the clinic located at 3180 W. Clearwater Ave., in Kennewick. The fair is open to everyone.

There will be food and games for the family and also free blood pressure checks, health education and information on the expansion of medicaid.  The information will be available in English and Spanish.

"Free food, prizes, raffle, we're going to have a funk tank and some enjoyment for all ages. And we really just want to showcase our Kennewick clinic and help make folks aware that we're here to serve the community," said Tri-Cities Community Health Chief Operations Officer Michael Adams.

National Health Care Center Week is held each year to raise awareness of America's health centers.
