Senske Lawn and Tree Car Earns National Recognition

KENNEWICK, Wash. - A local business is getting some national recognition. Senske Lawn and Tree Care earns the first ever Frankel Award for Philanthropy Work.

Every year, Senske organizes Christmas decorations for soldiers and veterans to make sure their holidays are a little brighter. The service originated in the Tri-Cities and now every year 200 families of deployed service men and women across the country get their homes decorated.

"We really want to show them that we care and we are so thankful for what they do for this country and what they're sacrificing by having their loved ones overseas. So I think across the nation anything that we can do to help our troops is great," said Pat Mosley, Senske's Communications Director.

Senske owner Chris Senske personally accepted the award this year at the annual Christmas Decor Conference in Las Vegas. It's now on display at their Kennewick offices.
