YAKIMA, Wash. - Yakima police are investigating after finding a body along railroad tracks in the 500 block of S Front Street.
Officers say a 41-year-old man's body was found Monday near an unused portion of track. They say the body had injuries suggesting he either jumped or fell from a moving train. They believe the body had been there for two to three days.
Police found items nearby they believe belonged to the victim. However, they aren't releasing his name pending positive identification and notification of next of kin.
