Two Big Humane Society Fundraisers This Weekend

Posted: Updated:

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Humane Society of Central Washington will hold two of their big fundraisers this weekend.

Right now, they're selling their Shop for a Cause passes.

You can buy the pass for five dollars, and then take it to Macy's this Saturday to get 25 percent off your purchases.

The annual Paws in the Pool event is also coming up on Sunday.

You can take your dogs to Franklin Park and let them splash around in the pool.

Money from ticket sales will go to the Humane Society.

"Everything from little Chihuahuas to huge Saint Bernards coming out to have some fun on the last day of the pool being open and all for a good cause," said Erica Seaver-Engel with the Humane Society.

You can buy the Shop for a Cause passes at the Humane Society's office.

They cost five dollars and you can use them at Macy's on Saturday.

Paws in the Pool is coming up on Sunday between two and four pm.

It costs $2.00 for kids and $3.75 for adults.
