Special Needs Faux Rodeo Welcomes Participates

KENNEWICK, Wash.-  The Rascal Rodeo is back in town.  

If you're unfamiliar with the event, it's a fun filled morning for special needs people who get to participate in a faux rodeo.

Special needs participants of all ages are welcome to take part in the free event.

Participants will be paired with cowboys and cowgirls to learn the different events in the rodeo including; wild cow milking, calf roping, steer roping, bull riding and barrel racing.

The only live animals used are horses and ponies. 

Volunteers and spectators are welcome to come and cheer on the participants.

It's Friday, August 23rd at 9am at the Benton County fair grounds.
