BRUCE, Wash.- A new wheat and corn receiving facility is now up and running near Othello to help meet growers' demand.
Connell Grain Growers built the new facility in Bruce.
It has a total storage capacity of two million bushels.
The facility also has the highest corn drying capacity in the area and is designed to receive up to 60,000 bushels of grain per hour.
Connell Grain Growers say the strategic location of the grain facility should allow them to bring added value to their wheat and corn producers, as well as a reliable source of corn for feed to the area dairies and feed lots.
