Pursley Wins Toyota/NAPA 150

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE, Wash. – NASCAR had quite the return to Spokane County Raceway Saturday night, as driver Greg Pursley won the Toyota/NAPA 150 driving the 26 car to victory lane.

Cameron Hayley and the 24 car qualified with the best lap time early in the day, and started the race as the leader. Hayley held the lead early on until Michael Self caught up and passed the 24 car.

Self controlled the race for most of the laps, until there were about 30 to go. Greg Pursley had moved into third because of caution, and took over first after passing Self in turn three. Pursley and the 26 car were never in doubt the rest of the way, as he padded his lead and held on to win the Toyota/NAPA 150.

Michael Waltrip finished the race, but was never in contention during the race.
