Today: Several waves of showers and t/storms will move through the region today...each producing potentially strong winds, heavy rain at times and lightning. Flash flood watches in effect all across the INW as we're expecting significant rainfall amounts over next 48 hours. High: 78° (Red For Dangerous T/Storm Conditions)

Tonight: Several models are indicating the threat of strong storms across the Basin tonight and moving NW towards the Eastern slopes of the Cascades. Heavy rain and lightning expected at times. This could be the most dangerous period in terms of Flash Flooding. Especially over recent burn scars. Low: 60° (Red)

Tomorrow: Strong storms from overnight continuing into the early morning, especially possible across Basin and near Cascades. Showers become less organized more scattered on Friday. Majority of rain looks to be in the mountains. Big cool down in temps. High: 64° (Yellow)

SPOKANE, Wash. - Everyone is looking for that perfect photo with that beautiful backdrop. But a Facebook post has sparked quite a conversation. Those with Operation Lifesaver say it’s not only illegal it’s also dangerous. “This is becoming more and more prevalent,” says Travis Campbell, state director of Idaho Operation Lifesaver.
