Sylvan Learning Center's New Home

Posted: Updated:

RICHLAND, Wash.- The Sylvan Learning center in Kennewick is moving to Richland.

The move to a new facility will allow for the teachers and students to work in an environment with a setup of tables that are designed to use iPads instead of books as teaching tools. The program loaded on the tablets uses stylus pens so the students can write out their answers and interact more with the lessons in front of them.

"This building is more up to date,' said, Randy Way, the Executive Director of the Tri-Cities Sylvan Learning Center. "It's a nice place for us to be and it also helps us provide the services that we're looking to provide."

The old facility closed on Friday and the new one in Richland located off of Keene Road will already be up and running Monday afternoon.
