SPOKANE, Wash. -

NASCAR made its return to town on Saturday, and KHQ photographer Reed Schmitt was on hand at Spokane County Raceway to take some great shots at the action.

Greg Pursley, from Newhall, Calif., took home the checkered flag, driving his No. 26 car to victory. Pursley took advantage of a caution flag and never looked back once he gained the lead.

Spokane native Braeden Havens rode his Western Rail Chevrolet No. 82 car to a ninth-place finish after starting 10th. Michael Waltrip finished 11th.
