Kennewick Police Investigating Neighborhood Dispute

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- Kennewick Police are investigating a neighborhood dispute that lead to the arrests of three men.

Officers were called to the 900 block of North Cleveland on Tuesday. Officers tell us the dispute had been going on for a few weeks.

Three men showed up to the apartment of another man to confront him about some problems between the neighbors. However, when the three men showed up, the man inside the apartment armed himself before coming out.

Neighbors say the man armed himself with a gun, but police aren't sure if the gun was actually working. However, police say the man was also armed with a knife.

When police showed up, they arrested one of the three men that had originally gone to the man's apartment for provoking assault.

The man who was armed was also arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm.

A third man was arrested later on an unrelated warrant for third degree assault.

Police are still investigating. No names have been released at this time.

No shots were ever fired and no one was injured.
