SPOKANE, Wash. - It may be your favorite time of year to hang out in Riverfront Park! Spokane's annual food and music event, Pig Out In The Park, started on Wednesday and goes through September 2nd!

There are going to be 47 food vendors, 100 free concerts and it's happening every day from 10am - 11pm!

There are also three adult beverage gardens as well.

(AP) - TransCanada Corp. says the company has sent additional crews and equipment to the site of a 210,000-gallon oil spill from its Keystone pipeline in South Dakota.    TransCanada said Saturday it is making progress in its investigation into the spill cause on farmland in Marshall County, near the North Dakota border, about 250 miles (402 kilometers) west of Minneapolis.

(AP) - Mel Tillis, the longtime country star who wrote hits for Kenny Rogers, Ricky Skaggs and many others, and overcame a stutter to sing on dozens of his own singles, has died.    A spokesman for Tillis, Don Murry Grubbs, said Tillis died early Sunday at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida. He was 85.
