Art Entries due at the End of September for WSU Tri-Cities Chancellor's Exhibition

RICHLAND, Wash. -- If you're an artist, your work is wanted.

Mid-Columbia artists are invited to submit their work by September 30 for a regional juried exhibition series at Washington State University Tri-Cities.

The selected artwork for the Fall 2013 Chancellor's Exhibition Series will be on display Oct. 17 through Dec. 23 in the East Building administration corridor at WSU Tri-Cities, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland.

This semi-annual juried exhibition series is designed to showcase the remarkable art of the Columbia Valley. Digital images, drawings, paintings, photography, sculptures, ceramics, glass or any other media is eligible and encouraged.

Artists interested in showing should send digital submissions by Sept. 30 to dgast@tricity.wsu.edu. No entry fees or entry forms are required. Artists will be notified via e-mail on Oct. 4. The selected works must be delivered to campus by Oct. 11 for installation. Find more details on the "call for entries" at www.tricity.wsu.edu/artgallery.

Chancellor H. Keith Moo-Young will welcome the artists at the opening reception at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the East Building, Room 228 conference room.
