Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, Wash. -  The defense attorney for a Richland teen accused of murdering another teen says he needs more time to prepare for the trial.

John Young, 18, and Joshua Hunt, 19, are accused of shooting and killing Joshua Snapp, 17, near Horn rapids early in the morning on the 4th of July.

Young's Seattle attorney John Crowley asked to push back Wednesday morning's hearing until next Friday, September 13th.

Young's trial is set for November 18th, but Crowley plans to ask to delay that as well.

Young and Hunt are both charged with 1st Degree Murder.
