Three Men Arrested After Stabbing Incident in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Three men are facing charges after an assault early Thursday morning in Kennewick.

Kennewick police say around 3 a.m. they found Dwayne Bateman, 32, in the parking lot of 1326 W 7th Place with a possible knife wound across his chest. Bateman told officers three male suspects came up to him and they got into a fight. Bateman told officers he believed the suspects cut him with a beer bottle.

Officers searched the nearby area and found broken beer bottles along with a three inch knife blade with possible blood on it.

Officers later arrested three Hispanic males in a vehicle matching the description of the one that left the area of the assault. Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
