YAKIMA, Wash.--A Yakima County judge denied the state's request to reinstate murder charges against one of the main suspects in a triple murder case.
Kevin Harper is still facing time for lesser charges related to the murder.
Last year, he pleaded guilty to charges of unlawfully possessing a firearm and possession of stolen property. Prosecutors believe Harper violated the terms of his plea deal and wanted to re-file murder charges, but the judge said "no".
